• 11/22 – Exodus 24 – How do I reaffirm and live the covenant that God has established with me? Prayer starter: Committed God, you invite me to live a life committed to you. Help me to keep this commitment with you.
• 11/23 – Exodus 25-26 – What dwelling places have you built for God both within and outside of you? Prayer starter: God of my ancestors, thank you for dwelling with your people and for giving us the means to feel your presence and worship you. Teach me to recognize how you dwell in me.
• 11/24 – Exodus 27-28 – How is God dwelling in you? Prayer starter: Compassionate and caring God, may my worship deepen my love for you and lead me to a deeper experience of you. May the tangible objects with which I worship you reveal your presence.
• 11/25 – Exodus 29:1-9, Exodus 30-31 – Do I begin and close my day by making an offering to God? Prayer starter: Ever-present God, receive my prayers works, joys, and sufferings. May my life be an acceptable sacrifice to you.
• 11/26 – Exodus 32 – In what areas of my life do I stand in need of God’s forgiveness? Do I seek it? Prayer starter: Compassionate God, forgive me for my failures and sins. Help me to continue to forgive and to be reconciled with you and all who are part of my life.
• 11/27- Exodus 33 – How do you seek to see the face of God in your life and in the world? Prayer starter: Gracious and compassionate God, forgive me for being stiff-necked. Help me to remain faithful to you and to avoid the idols of the world.
• 11/28 – Exodus 34 – How have I experienced God’s mercy, kindness, and forgiveness toward me? Prayer starter: Have mercy on me faithful, forgiving, and just God. I entrust myself to you and ask that you give me the grace to return to you and repair my relationshio with you.

The month of November takes us into the study of how God saves and sets us free.

• 11/15 – Exodus 15:22-27 & Exodus 16:1-36 – How does God shape me through the gifts and trials of my life? Prayer starter: God of abundance, you fill my life with all that I need. Help me to be a gracious receiver of your generosity.
• 11/16 – Exodus 17-18 – When have you complained to God and how has God responded? Prayer starter: Gracious God, sustain me even during times of testing. Help me to always trust in you.
• 11/17 – Exodus 19 – How do you develop in your own life a sense of wonder and awe about God? Prayer starter: Awesome God, thank you for binding with me through your covenant: Let me never lose my awe for you and my wonder about you.
• 11/18 – Exodus 20:1-17 – Ponder if you have kept and will continue to keep your word with God. Prayer starter: God, you have given me the words of eternal life in the Ten Commandments. Help me to live them daily as a sign of keeping my promises to the covenant I have with you.
• 11/19 – Exodus 20:18-26 – Do I respond to God’s commandments out of obligation or gratitude? Prayer starter: Liberating God, you have called me from bondage and called me into a relationship with you. Deepen your covenant within me so that you are my only God.
• 11/20 – Exodus 21 – How does law help me to deal with various situations and decisions in life? Prayer starter: God the lawgiver, carve your laws on the fleshy tablets of my heart. Help me to form and inform my conscience by means of your law.
• 11/21 – Exodus 22-23 – How do you treat immigrants who live in your community? Prayer starter: Liberating God, continue to free me from everything that alienates me from you and the rest of humankind. May I always treat others with the same compassion with which you have treated me.

• To Bob Dominy, Pete Battaglia and Mike Dominy – for continuing repairs on the parish carillon;
• To the parish Committee – for a very long and passion-filled monthly meeting last week;
• To the Students of our catechetical and Sunday School classes for gathering on their day off to complete the Christmas craft for this year;
• To the parents of the students would took time to bring them to the church, and to those who stayed to help out in the craft-making;
• To all of you who have brought (or will bring) baked goods for today’s NUYA-inspired Bake Sale for the launching of the ARK;
• To Deborah Bilinski – for all the preparations and coordination of the SOCL project.

All of the above brethren have offered the parish quite a bit blood, sweat and tears for the benefit of us all. Thank you all for your love and concern to our parish!

• 11/8 – Exodus 8-9 – When has my own heart been stubborn, refusing to respond to God? Prayer starter: O God, harden not my heart. Help me to love you wholeheartedly.
• 11/9 – Exodus 11 – How does your relationship with God bring other people to God? Prayer starter: God of all people, help me never to be so arrogant as to limit you to one group of people or one why of practicing faith. Help my lifestyle to be a light of revelation to everyone of your loving presence.
• 11/10 – Exodus 12 – What ritual actions celebrate my incorporation into the people of God? Prayer starter: God, you who helped Israel pass over from slavery to freedom, help me to do likewise. Help me to move from the comfort of the known through faith to the freedom of the unknown future.
• 11/11 – Exodus 13 – How have you experienced God’s strong hand caring for you? Prayer starter: God, guide me as you guided your people in the wilderness. Help me discern your guidance; give me the trust to follow it.
• 11/12 – Exodus 14:1-18 – How do you feel comforted by God even in your most desperate situations? Prayer starter: Lord God, you are my liberator. Free me from all that prevents me from relating to you.
• 11/13 – Exodus 14:19-31 – How does God make use of your hands and how do you handle God? Prayer starter: Hold me in your hands, O God. Help me to feel your hand guiding me as I pilgrimage through life.
• 11/14 – Exodus 15:1-21 – What rites of passage do you need to embrace in your own life? Prayer starter: God my deliverer, deliver me from all forms of slavery toward which I may be tempted. Help me to sing of your deliverance.

• 11/1 – Exodus 1 – What slavery or bondage do you need to ask God to free you from? Prayer starter: God the liberator, free me from any slavery or addiction I may have to people, to work, and to substances. Help me to realize that with your help I can break the chains of addiction.
• 11/2 – Exodus 2 – Who are the women in your life who have saved you from tyrannical ways? Prayer starter: Gracious and compassionate God, thank you for all the loving care I receive from the women in my life. Let me never take them for granted.
• 11/3 – Exodus 3:1-10 – Are you ever truly awestruck by the mystery of God? Prayer starter: Loving God, help my life for you to never burn out. Help me to continue to call upon your name.
• 11/4 – Exodus 3:13-15 – Do you believe in God’s promise to always be present? Prayer starter: God, you who are mystery, help me to always respect your name. Help me to respect how you choose to be present.
• 11/5 – Exodus 4-5 – When God calls you, how do you respond? Prayer starter: God, thank you for accepting me just the way I am. Be patient with me as I make excuses but also continue to call me to accountability.
• 11/6 – Exodus 6 – When have you felt that God has helped you with an outstretched hand? Prayer starter: God my deliverer, continue to deliver me from the chokehold of addiction, sin, and evil. Help me to remember that only you are my God.
• 11/7 – Exodus 7-8 – What are the signs and wonders in the world and in my life that show God at work? Prayer starter: God the wonder worker, continue to work wonders in my life. Help me to discover you in all your wondrous deeds.

• 10/25 – Revelation 2:18-29 – If I were to write a letter to my church, what accomplishments should be highlighted? Prayer starter: Lord Jesus, Son of God, you praised the humble church of Thyatira for the magnitude of faith. Help us to assess the vitality of a church by the depth of faith not by numbers of membership.
• 10/26 – Revelation 3:14-22 – Which areas of my life would call for more spiritual fervor? Prayer starter: Lord, you have been knocking so often at my door without getting a proper response. Say the word that will touch my heart and heal me.
• 10/27 – John 20:2-10 & John 21:20-24 – Which aspect of the Beloved Disciple’s testimony about Jesus speaks to me most? Prayer starter: We give you thanks, Lord Jesus, for the testimony of your Beloved disciple. May we enjoy, like him, the depth of your love.
• 10/28 – John 13:12-20 – How do I fulfill Jesus’ commandment to serve? Prayer starter: Jesus, our Lord and Teacher, may we never forget that there is no better way to follow you than to love and serve one another just as you did.
• 10/29 – John 15:1-17 – What have been the greatest moments of joy in my journey with Christ? Prayer starter: Lord Jesus, your words have brought me true and lasting joy. Keep me in your love and in your joy always.
• 10/30 – Mark 10:17-31 – What stops me from being generous to the poor and the needy? Prayer starter: When my earthly possessions and concerns keep me away from you, O Lord, give me the strength to let go of them and to follow you.
• 10/31 – Matthew 28:16-20 – How have I carried out my responsibility to make disciples? Prayer starter: Jesus, O Emmanuel, be with us always and make each of one of us faithful and joyful witnesses of your Resurrection.
